This message is from Katie Thisdell, upcoming editor-in-chief of The Breeze. I strongly encourage you to consider applying for one of these positions--or at least submitting your work for publication.
"The Breeze is still looking for applicants for two editor positions for April 2010 - March 2011. The online editor's responsibilities would be to continue to develop the Web site (which is undergoing a redesign now from a class group) and then to upload content for each print publication. The opinion editor position includes participation on the editorial board, working with writers to clarify columns and op-eds, and maintaining a column. If you have questions about the positions or are interested in applying, contact the upcoming editor-in-chief Katie Thisdell at thisdeke@jmu.edu this week as training will begin in March."
